Hello everyone,
In just 24 short hours, polls will be closing on the west coast, and the vote count will begin. Soon after, hopefully tomorrow night, we will know who controls the House and Senate for the subsequent two years. Predictions are swirling surrounding the outcome. Our very own William Benson predicts a red wave in his article published this morning. Others are more modest. If you’re curious about which way the polls are leaning, check out Real Clear Politics’ predictions.
The one thing that is certain is that if you want to have an impact on the direction of our country, you have to get out and vote. Attached here is a link to Vote.org, who provides resources for every possible question you could have about voting in your own district. Be sure to research who you’re going to vote for ahead of time. Remember that while they aren’t as flashy, some of the most important ballot choices are those for judges and school-board positions, change happens at the local level too.
Be sure to keep an eye out for our articles tomorrow and Wednesday featuring our instant reactions to the most important races. We’ll be live Tweeting results as they come in, so be sure to follow us on Twitter and Instagram for exclusive content.
That’s all folks, be sure to get out and exercise your opportunity to have your say in the direction of our country.
Best,
Dace Potas
